My business model differs from most contractors. Many contractors try to bid low to get the project and either makeup with change orders, save on material quality, or rush the job to save on labor. The core of my service is construction management -- I offer project feasibility assessment, lead you through the permitting and entitlement process, and prepare detailed scopes to receive the most accurate proposals. With that, I will shop around on your behalf and collect multiple bids from local trades and from the list of contractors that I have worked with in the past. I verify contractors’ credentials, assist with the preparation or review of the contracts, and help you select the most qualified contractors for all the phases of the project.  I charge an hourly rate for these services, and I charge a percentage of the contract price for scheduling and supervising the implementation process, reviewing and accepting contractors' work, and passing all the necessary inspections. Obviously, this is something that the owner-builders can do themselves. Still, they don’t always have the time, technical experience, and desire to deal with the drudgery part of construction. Working with me saves them time and money and, most importantly, gives them peace of mind, knowing that they're someone who always looks out for their best interests no matter what.
